How Clearmason Digital uses personal data when you visit this site, book a call or email us.
Who we are
Clearmason Digital is operated by Maximus Vavoulas, an individual based in Greece (EU). He is the data controller for this site and for bookings made through it.
Contact: contact@clearmasondigital.com
What we collect
- Site visits: our host, Netlify, logs technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested.
- Bookings: through Calendly we receive your name, email, your answers to the booking questions, the time you choose and your time zone.
- Site use, only if you accept: Microsoft Clarity records how you use the site. See Cookies and Microsoft Clarity below.
- Calls: held on Zoom.
- Emails: your address, name and whatever you write.
We don’t ask for sensitive data, and the site isn’t aimed at children.
Why we use it
- Running and securing the site (server logs), based on our legitimate interests.
- Arranging your call, including confirmation and reminder emails sent from maximus@clearmasondigital.com. These are steps you’ve asked for before any agreement, and in our legitimate interests.
- Replying to your emails and following up on your enquiry, on the same bases.
- Improving the site with Microsoft Clarity, only with your consent.
- Legal obligations, such as business and tax records if we work together.
Who processes it for us
Netlify (hosting), Microsoft (Clarity site analytics, only with your consent), Calendly (bookings), Zoom (calls) and Google Workspace (email). Each handles data under its own terms. We don’t share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK and EU
Some of these providers, including Microsoft, store data in the United States or elsewhere. Where that happens, we rely on their safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed. Booking details and emails are deleted once your enquiry is finished, unless we work together and must keep records for legal or tax reasons. Netlify keeps server logs for a limited time under its own settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format.
Email contact@clearmasondigital.com. We’ll reply within one month, free of charge.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (opens in a new tab); in the UK, the ICO (opens in a new tab); or the authority where you live or work.
